1. Unpack and unwrap the box. It includes a filter, 2 filter cartridges, one Teflon tape, and 2 washers. Inside the filter you will have one cartridge and an extra one in the box.
2. Disconnect your showerhead from the shower arm and clean the thread with a dry cloth. Wrap the shower arm thread with Teflon tape to prevent leaks.
3. Place one silicone ring on the top side of the Purifit filter (the side that connects to the shower arm). Wrap the bottom side with Teflon tape to prevent leaks.
4. Align the top end of the Purifit with the shower arm thread and rotate clockwise to tighten.
5. Flushing — Step away, turn on the water, and let it run for 3 minutes. This will flush out carbon dust (discolored water), which is harmless.
6. Place the silicone ring at the bottom end of the Purifit where the shower-head connects. Align and rotate clockwise to tighten. Use a spanner if needed. If there are leaks, check the silicone rings and tighten again. The shower filter is now ready to use.
